
Meet Garret Chamberlain, PE, Manager of Engineering Northwestern Water and Sewer District
Garret Chamberlain, P.E., is the Manager of Engineering at the Northwestern Water and Sewer District in Bowling Green. Garret has more than 14 years of experience in public utility infrastructure and brings both technical expertise and a strong regional perspective to the Board. He joined The Northwestern Water & Sewer District (The District) in 2013 and has steadily advanced through engineering roles supporting the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater systems that serve communities across Northwest Ohio.
In January 2026, Garret was promoted to Manager of Engineering at The District, where he now leads engineering operations and oversees approximately $30 million in capital improvement projects annually. His work focuses on delivering reliable, cost-effective infrastructure while helping communities plan for the future and evolving regulatory challenges.
A licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio, Garret earned his degree in civil engineering from Ohio Northern University and holds certifications in Utility Management and OSHA. He is actively engaged in regional collaboration and regularly collaborates with local partners on projects that enhance system reliability, protect public health, and support community growth throughout The District’s service area.
Born and raised in Wood County, Garret remains deeply connected to the region he serves. He and his wife are raising their two children in Liberty Township, and he brings that same sense of community commitment to his work and as a CORD Board Member.
